Nutrient utilization by broiler chickens fed differently processed cassava-soya blends

Due to insufficiency in maize supplies for use as poultry feed and its high price, there is the need alternative energy sources poultry. The availability of cassava tropical part world fashion a way incorporating cheaper ingredients into makes good feeding. However, compared with cereal grains, low protein it has poor quality very essential amino acid contents, hence make blend oil seeds such soyabean which are rich protein. This study was thereby conducted determine nutrient utilization by broiler chickens fed diets differently processed Cassava-Soya Blends (CSB). Cassava pulp full fat (dry wet heated) mixed at ratios 50:50, 60:40, 80:20 subjected two types dehydration methods (frying sun drying) obtain 12 CSB. blends were included 15% level ration 2x2x3 factorial arrangement. 360 one-day-old Cobb-500 chicks used this randomly allotted dietary treatment groups three replicates 10 birds each. Eight weeks feeding trials (starter finisher phases) observed. Nutrient digestibility carried out on 4th 8th week experiment. blended heated soya 50:50 had highest crude (CP) 37.72% metabolizable (3,314kcal/kg) HCNresidue 1.70 mg/kg. interaction heat treatments, mixing ratio resulted higher CP from 75.82% 77.27% 10.65MJ/kg 12.92 MJ/kg starter phase.  En raison de l'insuffisance des approvisionnements en maïs destiné à l'alimentation volailles et son prix élevé, il existe un besoin d'énergie alternatives pour la volaille. La disponibilité du manioc dans partie tropicale monde nécessité trouver moyen d'incorporer ingrédients alternatifs moins chers font une bonne au volailles. Il conclu que thermique soja, MMS influencé positivement brutes démarrage.
